W is for Weekend

W is for Weekend = for ABC Wednesdayand to have a wicked time which is for me of course a walk on the wildside. Just a few pics of these wayside flowers. A few stolen moments of wanton pleasure with my camera and my dog Where were you in your world this weekend/

Free Spirit

Grasses

And more grasses - I am not familiar with all their names - something that I must brush up on !!

The perfume from all the plants mingled together and the air was awash with I suppose a hayfever sufferers' nightmare - linking to ABC Wednesday - Our World Tuesday and Nature Notes - thanks for your company

Hi there - splendid set of pictures. I think grass is an overlooked plant! They do reward a bit of searching about on your hands and knees.

I take photos of wildflowers when I walk my dog too! I've seen some of these same blooms, but don't know their names either. Super shots!

I love the 'walk on the wild side' and all the blooms and the visitors..and I love how you rescue the bees. That sounds like something I might try and now I know how to do it.. Thank you for participating in this week's Nature Notes Jane...Michelle

FAIRY -LED

The fairy people flouted me,
Mocked me ,shouted me
They chased me down the dreamy hill and beat me with a wand
Within the wood they found me ,put spells on me and bound me
And left me at the edge of day in John the miller's pond

Their bodies were all twisted like a lichened apple tree

Short Jokes of the day

Dress Code.

It is advised that you come to work dressed according to your salary. If we see you wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag, we assume you are doing well financially and therefore do not need a raise. If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a raise. If you dress just right, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a raise.

Sick Days

We will no longer accept a doctor's statement as proof of sickness. If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.

Personal Days

Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturday & Sunday.

Toilet Use
Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilet. There is now a strict three-minute time limit in the stalls. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the stall door will open, and a picture will be taken. After your second offence, your picture will be posted on the company bulletin board under the "Chronic Offenders category". Anyone caught smiling in the picture will be sanctioned under the company's mental health policy.
Lunch Break
Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch, as they need to eat more, so that they can look healthy. Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure. Chubby people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that's all the time needed to drink a Slim-Fast.
