N is for Nostalgia

Hello - it is ABC Wednesday today and I was going to skip a week because I have had a mental black out - ie Nothing to blog about - I have been battling with Picasso with the intent of creating a collage of Pembrokeshire Wild Flowers - it has become an obsession and little else has been done - well I think I have cracked it so to speak - what do you think and Thankyou for all the tips I have received to help me on my way - linking to ABC Wednesday - hope you like my little Nostalgia Trip back to the flower decked lanes of Pembrokeshire

I think it's lovely. Well done and I'm glad to see you won the 'Battle of Picasa Fields'!
I myself don't dabble with Picasa except for saving my blog pictures. I prefer a FreeBee bit of S/W called 'PhotoScape' which is very easy to use. :D

Lovely Nostalgia trip and collage.
I too have waged many battles with Picassa.
Right now we seem to be on friendly terms, more or less.

Jane, I get mental balckouts all the time when it comes to blogging. I love your photos, so glad you managed to rescue Bluey, it must have been quite scary, but lovely photo of the two of you wading in the water. Lovely to catch up.

Beautiful collage. Glad I could recognise most of them from gardens hereabouts. Would like to see them growing wild though. Congrats on your persistenc tussling with Picasa. :)

FAIRY -LED

The fairy people flouted me,
Mocked me ,shouted me
They chased me down the dreamy hill and beat me with a wand
Within the wood they found me ,put spells on me and bound me
And left me at the edge of day in John the miller's pond
Beneath the eerie starlight;
Their hair shone curd -white
Their bodies were all twisted like a lichened apple tree

Short Jokes of the day

Dress Code.

It is advised that you come to work dressed according to your salary. If we see you wearing Prada shoes and carrying a Gucci bag, we assume you are doing well financially and therefore do not need a raise. If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a raise. If you dress just right, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a raise.

Sick Days

We will no longer accept a doctor's statement as proof of sickness. If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work.

Personal Days

Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturday & Sunday.

Toilet Use
Entirely too much time is being spent in the toilet. There is now a strict three-minute time limit in the stalls. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the stall door will open, and a picture will be taken. After your second offence, your picture will be posted on the company bulletin board under the "Chronic Offenders category". Anyone caught smiling in the picture will be sanctioned under the company's mental health policy.
Lunch Break
Skinny people get 30 minutes for lunch, as they need to eat more, so that they can look healthy. Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure. Chubby people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that's all the time needed to drink a Slim-Fast.
