I love the intense bright blue of this first iris reticulata flowering in my pot - that was last week!!
Now this week there are ice patterns on the rockery pool
and the reticulata struggles to survive.
I am linking up with
Blue Monday and
Macro Monday - why not come along with me?
I love iris!!! Reminds me of my youth...my dad had them all over the yard. This one is outstanding...the color so vibrant.
ReplyDeleteMy Monday post is: SPRINGTIME in South TEXAS Do hope you can find a little time to stop by with a 'howdy'!!!
PS...I just read the comment you left for me...OH Boy...would I ever LOVE to watch Whitechapel with you!! I love the history and mystery behind Jack the Ripper. {{{color me envious}}}
ReplyDeleteNow, I'm wondering if this may be found online to watch here in USA. Gonna go Google. LOL
Little Iris is such a beautiful colour. Dang the frost! Hope you're on the mend again now xxxxx
ReplyDeleteIt looks like purple on my screen.
ReplyDeleteHappy Blue Monday, Jane.
The iris sure is a beauty!
ReplyDeleteThat iris is exquisite, and brave, too. Great pictures. I loved the icy ones as well, the combination of your selections really tell a story.
ReplyDeleteNice macro shots.
ReplyDeleteRegards and best wishes
Beautiful flower to see at this season. I like the detail of the yellow and white markings on the falls. The ice picture is intriguing, a very nice photo.
ReplyDeleteFantastic details of the ice patterns!
