I wish I could have heard this music in such a lovely setting. I did hear a small group of carolers on Saturday, a nice little treat! Thanks for visting my blog!
Hello Jane, I see you've moved house. Isn't the square a lovely place, I love it both summer and winter. It has something uniquely English about it and at the same time there is often a continental flavour. I also like the shops surrounding it.
Ah, Unity and understanding. One really good thing about this time of year is many people DO think about peace and goodwill. Now, if we could only stretch those thoughts to include the whole year maybe we could achieve better unity and understanding!
I used to love going to Shrewsberry. I love the tudor buildings.
ReplyDeleteI really like hearing carols being sung!

That's a great definition of Unity.
ReplyDeleteMusic without Unity is just noise.
How unber-wonderful! Do they play during the Christmas season in the square? It must be so nice! Wish we had something like that here.
